Angela Carlson, ND
Dr. Angela Carlson is a licensed Naturopathic Physician in the state of Oregon. She graduated from the National College of Natural Medicine and then completed a highly competitive residency at the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine. After completing residency, Dr. Carlson spent a year in private practice in Helena, Montana, primarily focusing on women’s health.
Dr. Carlson received her undergraduate degree in Environmental Studies from SUNY Binghamton in 2001. She was fortunate to participate in an exchange program at Humboldt State University, where she first experienced the great Northwest! After graduating college, she explored many places including Stehekin, Washington and Taos, New Mexico, until deciding to pursue a career in Naturopathic Medicine.
Dr. Carlson currently practices primary care with an emphasis on women’s health, gastrointestinal conditions, food allergies, thyroid disorders, and autoimmune conditions. She is knowledgeable in both conventional and natural modalities and is most passionate about botanical medicine, clinical nutrition, hydrotherapy and lifestyle coaching. Dr. Carlson is an attentive listener and works hard to understand her patient’s obstacles to wellness. She strives to empower each to take an active role in their health and offers thoughtful guidance on their journey towards optimal health.
When Dr. Carlson is not with patients or immersed in her studies, you will find her optimizing her own health, as well as enjoying a wide variety of interests, such as hiking, snowshoeing, skiing, exploring the farmer’s market, cooking healthy food, working out at the gym, and traveling to see her family and friends.
