Heather Lilly, ND
Dr. Heather Lilly is a Naturopathic physician trained in the integrative treatment of both chronic and acute health conditions. She graduated magna cum laude from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, Arizona, and also received the Daphne Blayden award for outstanding achievement. She furthered her training by completing a one-year residency in family practice at the Southwest Naturopathic Medical Center. She currently practices primary care with an emphasis on women’s medicine, pediatrics, autoimmune conditions, allergies, and gastrointestinal conditions. She utilizes safe, effective therapies that restore and support the vital force such as botanical medicine, homeopathy, hydrotherapy, nutrition, and mind-body medicine.
Dr. Lilly was born and raised in Michigan and attended Eastern Michigan University where she designed her own undergraduate major. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree with concentrations in earth science, humanities, and fine arts. After graduation, Dr. Lilly moved to Maui, Hawaii, to pursue a career in massage therapy. It was there that she first learned of Naturopathic Medicine, and changed course after being inspired by the concept of studying the science of health. Reminiscent of how conventional doctors are well versed in the science and treatment of disease, a Naturopath has the same understanding of the development of pathology, yet also has the ability to implement their knowledge of the body’s inherent healing ability combined with the healing power of nature to maintain or restore health.
Dr. Lilly believes strongly in the Naturopathic tenet of “Docere,” or physician as teacher. In keeping with this philosophy, she supports patients who wish to take their health into their own hands and offers guidance on their journey towards optimal health. In her spare time, Dr. Lilly enjoys yoga, cooking, gardening, photography, nature hikes, and spending time with friends and family.
